S. D. Unwin hails originally from Manchester in the United Kingdom, and now lives in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. He began as a theoretical physicist doing fundamental research into quantum theories of gravity. His first book was a light-hearted look at the odds of God and titled The Probability of God. It received international attention, being translated into several languages. This led to a side-career in public speaking. He now writes science fiction, his time travel trilogy, One Second Per Second, having achieved best-seller status on Amazon.
